“Thought Stew” is Dimmu Saurus’ second album and it includes music recorded between 2007 and 2010. It is highly experimental and consists of six tracks in an unusual combination of genres and moods. The opening track is an acoustic improvisation, followed by techno, then it is rock’n’roll. After that, there are two blues songs and it ends with an epic thrash-speed-metal ballad. All these different ideas are cooked together producing a stew... of thoughts.
Initially, the stew was going to include two more ingredients, “Dead Man’s Dance” and “Nightfall”, but they grew bigger and became separate stories.
